EAST BRIDGEWATER
Those who attend weekly channeling sessions at the Angels' Loft
on Route 18, say they have no doubt they are actually receiving communication from an angel.
"I could feel it inside," Erin, a 19-year-old East Bridgewater woman, said recently after attending
her first session, "and there's no way I could fake a feeling like that. I've felt love like that but
it's not the type of love I could make myself feel."
Those who attend regularly said that the angel's voice is soothing and calming, and is always
accompanied by a felling of upliftment and love. Aeneice
(pronounced Ah-neese) communicates each week through Kristy Bowlin, proprietor of The Angels' Love on
Route 18. The group sessions are held at 7 p.m. each Friday night and are open to the public.
Bowlin, 36, is what is known as a trance channel. She says that through much practice she has been
able to align herself with the "higher vibrational energy of the universe" and acts as a go-between
from this reality to higher realms. The number of people attending the group sessions varies each week
from four to a dozen. Bowlin also provides private sessions.
During one recent session, Bowlin first led a group made up of five women and one man on a gentle
guided meditation designed to "raise the vibration and open you to receive." The group held hands
initially. Once Bowlin finished with the meditation and stopped speaking, she closed her eyes and
seemed to go to sleep. Within seconds, she began speaking, although her eyes remained closed. The
melodic voice of Aeneice, clearly different from Bowlin's speaking voice, then began to speak.
At the conclusion of the 1 1/2 hour session, those present said they felt peaceful and calm. They
also said they have no doubt that Aeneice is an angel. "I heard the voice come through and
I knew Kristy couldn't do that on her own," Toni, who has had numerous channeling sessions, said.
Ceasar Braga, 41, of Fall River, has attended several of the group sessions and has also arranged
with Bowlin for a number of private sessions. "I need to connect with the higher consciousness and
the energy of the universe and there's always such a loving energy and words of wisdom for the whole
planet," he said. "If you come here feeling a little down, it always brings you up and it's just
wonderful."
Erin said that at the start of the session she had been troubled because of her grandfather's serious
illness. "It was very uplifting," Erin said, "I feel more at peace now. It comforted me to know that he
will pass away in peace. I'll be able to tell him I do love him. The session was nice. Aeneice
pinpointed my biggest fear that of being alone. It's not completely gone now but it's (been) diminished."
Edwina Brady, 53, of Bridgewater, has attended numerous sessions and said she never experienced anything
like the "love and the energy and the connectedness, not only with Aeneice but also with the people
in the room, even if they're strangers," that the sessions give her. "The meditations Aeneice guides
us through are awesome the energy that comes through is very uplifting," Brady continued. "Aeneice
resonates within you and you know it's the truth."
Although Brady said she has always believed in angels, the first time she attended a channeling session,
"I was skeptical, I was uneasy because I did not know what to expect. "Initially, I was a little
uncomfortable," Brady said, "When Kristy has her eyes closed and Aeneice starts talking directly
to you, it's a very strange feeling." Brady said she became comfortable when she realized that Aeneice's
messages echoed those of great spiritual teachers she has studied, including Jesus and Buddha.
She became convinced that Aeneice was an angel when she told Brady things about herself that Brady
had never told Bowlin. For example, one night Aeneice told her to "sit in front of your canvas,"
hours after Brady had told her mother she planned to paint a picture. "I hadn't told Kristy anything about
my painting and that blew me away because Aeneice commented on it twice that night," Brady said.
Even more surprising was the time when Brady began to ask Aeneice about her newborn grandson and
Aeneice finished her query for her by saying "Yes, he's holding Bobby's energy." Bobby was the son
Brady had lost when he was 8-months-old and Bowlin knew nothing about him.
In an interview after the session, Bowlin said she is not interested in trying to convince skeptics that
angels actually speak through her, or in attracting more clients. "People are drawn to come here when it's
right for them," she said. "Something happens inside of them first that boosts their faith in the unseen
and I think that's what attracts them to something like this."
Bowlin said that she does "absolutely nothing to convince anyone. Belief is not a requirement. Belief
comes from the heart, the feelings you have about your experience. That's the only place belief resides."
Bowlin said she herself was skeptical when she began receiving information from other realms about six
years ago. "I had some instances occur in my life that gave me the proof that I needed," she said. "I had
quite a few of them. One of them was a message I received from Spirit from my father who had passed
away eight years ago assisting me in locating something I had lost."
At the time, she said, she had no belief in life after death. "Religiously speaking, I came from a
background where there was no belief in life after death or angels at all. Once she began to open to the
realm of Spirit, Bowlin said, usually through states of deep meditation, "experiences same where angels
gave me information about things I knew nothing about and things that later came to be true."
