Tommy Osuna's Thirdstream, instrumental guitar CD is very relaxing and is great to listen to after a long workday. The music ranges from rock to Arabic to Caribbean to Flamenco. Thirdstream is not your typical soft, ethereal, new agey music. Nor is it just guitar strumming; its melodies and harmonies are very complex. I find it fascinating that anyone can create such a myriad of sounds on a guitar. I've been told that some mothers have bought this CD to play for their children to listen to while going to sleep. For myself, I listen to it on the long commute home and have even played it while having a Reflexology treatment and while meditating. Seeing this artist play live is equally fascinating. Tomi goes into a space that can only be described as a spiritual connection. Those of us who believe our creativity is channeled from spirit (our higher selves) will understand this. When he plays a solo, all else fades into the distance, as he dominates the stage.
