| Celebration Of Life
The joy of living fills the whole essence of my Being.
- The beauty of God's earthly creation,
- The greenness of the grass and trees in spring,
- The sound of a mockingbird as it trills its song,
- The flash of color as a butterfly wings its way,
- The fresh smell of pine after a spring rain,
- The delicious taste of a tomato ripe from the vine,
- The sound of a brook as it splashes on the rocks, rushing on its way,
- The rich browness of the soil freshly tilled,
- The delicate beauty of a freshly opened rose,
- The blueness of the sky on a clear spring day,
- The whiteness of the clouds as they float serenely on their way,
- The coolness of a spring breeze as it caresses one's body,
- The warmth of the summer sun,
- The gentle patter of falling rain,
- The silvery light of the moon on a calm spring night,
- The brilliant colors of a summer sunset,
- The bright reds and golds of Indian summer,
- The crisp whiteness of a winter snow,
- The brisk fresh air of a winter day,
- The delighted laughter of a child at play,
- The cooing of a baby in its crib,
- The wonder in a child's eyes as it surveys some new discovery.
To live each moment as it comes,
- To rush forward to meet life,
- To live with every fiber of one's being,
- To experience every kind of emotion,
- From the depths of despair and sadness,
- To the heights of joy and gladness.
- Oh, to meet each day with the innocent eagerness of a child;
- To reach out for Life,
- To Live and Love and have Being,
- Just to Exist is a wonderful Gift from God.
- To Live is to Praise Him.
